My love of the visual arts and career as a multimedia photojournalist and photo-editor  began in Toronto, Ontario, in the 70’s.

I have worked in the industry as a photographer, photo editor, photojournalist and reporter for more than 45 years. Twenty-eight of those with Kingston This Week, in Kingston, Ontario.

Over the years my work has garnered many provincial, national and international photography awards, including three nominations for Ontario Community Newspaper Association photographer of the year awards, an honour I won in 2008 and placed second for in 2011.

In 2006, I was thrilled to be the first recipient of the Bravo! Award of Excellence for feature photography in education, from the Canadian Association of Communicators in Education.

I’ve been honoured to have had my work read by tens of thousands of readers weekly during my time here in Kingston. Now working independently, I really enjoy being able to focus on individual clients in a way that as a media representative, I seldom had time to do on a sustained basis.

For the last few years, I have returned to my freelance roots, creating treasured family portraits, photographing weddings, as well as commercial/editorial and event photography for several local publications, including the City of Kingston, Frontenac County, and select corporate clients. With close to five decades of experience, I bring a wealth of skill and knowledge to every assignment I engage in.
